As proud New Jerseyans, we love braggin' on the Great Garden State.
What's not so great? The number of our residents living with food insecurity, including one in five of our children.
The Franklin Food Bank, located in Somerset NJ, has been helping individuals and families in some form since the mid-1970s. The Empty Bowls - Franklin Twp NJ dinner event held in March 2019 supports the Food Bank's efforts as neighbors helping neighbors, now touching the lives of about 2000 families a year.
